The Bolles School seeks a dynamic, inspirational leader to serve as the next Head of the Middle School Bartram campus. The ideal candidate will leverage the strengths of the more than 50 faculty and staff to continue to build on our culture of excellence and tradition. The Middle School Head reports to the Associate Head of School and is a member of the School’s Administrative Team. This position will commence with the 2018-19 academic year.

Serving over 1,600 students on our four campuses in Grades Pre-K through 12, Bolles has a history rich in tradition and achievement that extends to our hiring practices and the professionalism and respect garnered in the independent school community. Bolles' middle school students continue to develop their identities and build their independence under the guidance of caring faculty and advisors. On the Bolles Bartram Campus, more than 400 students learn responsibility, decision-making and time management as they explore All Things Possible in an environment with their peers. The middle school curriculum encourages students’ expanding interests while they further hone their study habits and are well-prepared to take on the challenges and decisions of upper school. The programs offered in middle school begin to take on a more demanding pace for which the faculty works to prepare students. Higher concepts in each subject are introduced by faculty specializing in that subject. All subjects are sequential to become more in-depth with progressive grade levels.
Purpose: Implement, supervise, monitor and oversee all middle school programs and operations, Grades 6 through 8.
