The district serves about 27,000 students in 42 schools and centers and is recognized statewide for its many innovative and high quality educational programs and services. A candidate must have a minimum of ten years successful administrative experience, with at least three years in a senior level leadership position. School-based experience as a teacher and principal is strongly preferred. Administrative experience in a district of 15,000 students or more is preferred. A Master’s degree is required, with an earned Doctorate preferred. Florida experience is also preferred. The salary range is $160,000 to $185,000 annually with a competitive benefits package and a three-year contract.
