The Chief Operating Officer’s job is to “run” the school and get working like clockwork on the business end.  The C.O.O. will handle:

• State and city compliances
• Billing and tuition collection 
• Payroll
• Bill payment
• Facilities management
• Florida State scholarship assistance for families
• Coordination with accountants
• HR- negotiating contracts, handling staff discipline or complaints, working with Head of School on hiring/firing, maintaining HR paperwork, etc.

• Financial planning - working with Head of School and board members on 3 to 5 year pro forma and creating financial means to achieve school goals
• Being a presence to help provide structure at school- direct the staff, work with the Head, and get to know the families

• 4 year degree in School Administration or Leadership, Business Administration, Fundraising & Development, Entrepreneurship or a related field
• 5 years of experience in school administration or fundraising
