The Head of Upper School is charged with the comprehensive responsibility of all curricular and non-curricular development/activities involving students and faculty in the Upper School to create a dynamic mission-appropriate learning environment. The Head of Upper School also oversees the hiring and supervision of instructional and support personnel and the direction of athletics, student life, and facilities. The Head of Upper School reports to the Head of School and is a member of the senior leadership team at Seacrest.

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in education or school administration preferred
5 – 7 years experience as a lead teacher
2 – 3 years experience as an administrative leader, preferably in independent schools
Proven success at working collaboratively in educational leadership
A dynamic instructional leader with a solid understanding of the developmental and curricular needs of high school students
