$170,000.00 to $230,000.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus competitive benefits.

Overview:
The St. Johns County School District (SJCSD) consists of more than 52,500 students and has realized growth of 17% over the last five years. The school system currently supports 18 elementary schools, nine K-8 schools, seven middle schools, nine high schools, one technical college, one alternative school and four charter schools, and one virtual school. Over the last several years, the SJCSD has made the transition from a small school district to a medium-sized school district. The SJCSD is dedicated to enhancing the learning experience for students in an area that covers 600 square miles, with more than 330,000 residents. This county features the oldest city in the United States, St. Augustine, and is lined by miles of beaches from on its eastern border and the St. Johns River on its western border. The SJCSD is the largest employer within St. Johns County with more than 6,600 full-time employees.
Test scores remain some of the highest in the state exceling in reading, math, science and end of course exams. Twenty-nine high school career academies expand the offerings for students. The graduation rate for the 2023-2024 school year was 95%.
The district has the distinction of being a CHARACTER COUNTS! Exemplary District and receiving the Certificates of Achievement and Excellence in Financial Reporting. There is strong community support for the district which was evident in the passage of two local referenda this year. Focus groups, business partners, faith-based partnerships and volunteers help to support the success of SJCSD students and staff.

Earned Doctorate from an accredited institution
Administrative/leadership at the district/cabinet level in a district with more than 25,000 Students
10 years increasingly responsible education administrative leadership experience
Classroom teaching and school principal experience at different levels
